The ticketing system ‘Balticket’ was established in 1997 in Tallin (Estonia). Nowadays it enables to purchase tickets in all three Baltic States.
The branch office of the ‘Balticket’ in Lithuania named ‘Bilietų Pasaulis’ was presented last summer. Today it has more than 60 booking offices and sells tickets to 2867 events in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
In order to make the process of ticket purchasing easier and more convenient company ‘Bilietų Pasaulis’ presents the innovation – the ability to download e-ticket directly to mobile phone as a short message (SMS).
‘It’s a perfect solution for those who cannot print the pdf ticket or buy it in the booking office. In addition, SMS ticket is a good idea for the last-minute purchase before the event’, says Neringa Sinkevičienė, the Managing Director of ‘Bilietų Pasaulis’.
SMS tickets, as well as all other tickets, will be scanned at the entrance to the event. They will be examined in two ways - manually entering the scanner ID number or scaning the bar code directly from a mobile phone screen.
SMS tickets of ‘Bilietų Pasaulis’ will be available for download to all mobile phone models. In the website client before entering his telephone number will be asked to choose the model of his mobile phone.
